Tripudjo Soemarko is the Advisor – Government Relations of our Indonesian subsidiary, Indonesia Business Partners. He is a career banker with over 30 years of work experience at HSBC. Over the course of his illustrious career Tripudjo served the bank in various capacities, most recently as Director of Strategy and Business Implementation. In this role, he was responsible for conceptualising and implementing HSBC’s strategy in Indonesia and also collaborating with all business and functional lines to grow HSBC’s business in Indonesia.

This included being responsible for HSBC’s engagement with local government, business chambers, the ASEAN secretariat and other organisations. Tripudjo has strong linkages with the local government and local business chambers of commerce, and his extensive network with key stakeholders in local planning and administration gives him unique insight into what the government is doing as well as what it is planning to do.

Tripudjo’s strong network with senior members in the government and business community and his insights and knowledge of the market makes him an invaluable asset for all our clients wanting to enter the Indonesian market or intending to expand their business in Indonesia.

Tripudjo holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Finance and an MBA from Western Illinois University, USA.
