Based in London, Sanat Rao is a Board Advisor for ABP who brings over 33 years of international leadership at the intersection of banking, technology, and ethics. He has held senior roles including CEO of Infosys Finacle, where he oversaw the platform’s growth into a leading global digital banking solution, and Vice President & Senior Partner at IBM Consulting, where he guided large-scale transformation initiatives for financial institutions worldwide.

Sanat’s current research explores the socio-technical future imaginaries in the development of AI, examining how cultural and ethical perspectives shape emerging technologies. He holds a Master’s in AI Ethics and Society from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s in Digital Anthropology from University College London (UCL), bringing a rare combination of operational expertise and academic insight to his role at ABP.
